Magnesia refractories

Magnesia, zircon magnesia and chromium magnesia have excellent resistance to the corrosion from alkali, these refractories popularly used on regenerator of glass furnace, cement kiln e.g. of the location contact with alkali.

Magnesia-Carbon brick is resin-bonded brick made from pure magnesia sand or fused magnesia and carbon material. Anti-oxidant is added if required.
　　Properties: Magnesia-Carbon brick has good performance in thermal resistance, corrosion resistance and spalling resistance.
　　Application; widely used in converters, EAFS, ladles and refining furnaces.
